Guinea-Bissau
Description
A small flat country on the tropical west coast of Africa, Guinea-Bissau is mainly savanna, with a low-lying coastline with deep sea inlets and the Bijagós Archipel just off the coast. The only hills are in the northeast of the country, and will go no higher than 300m. The country has a very distinct wet and dry season. Best time to go is during the height of the dry season, from December to February.
There are several national parks, such as the Orango Islands National Park and Rio Grande de Buba National Park, where hiking with guide is possible.
